Rooted Children's Ministry

We don’t have a program for kids. We have a vision.

That vision is to see the next generation pursuing their joy in Christ alone such that they will worship him with us now and forever. Our Rooted Children’s Ministry and those who volunteer with it are seeking to partner with parents and guardians in discipling their children. We can’t accomplish this vision on our own—we need Spirit-filled parents, guardians, and volunteers to see to the care and instruction of the kids at Five Points.

Weekly Discipleship Opportunities

There are several opportunities throughout each week for the church to come alongside the discipleship happening at home. From newborns through sixth grade, Rooted provides the following age-specific venues:

  • Sundays during Bible Study Hour (9:30am) using curriculum from The Gospel Project for Kids
  • Sundays during the Worship Service (10:45am) for children birth through Kindergarten — we encourage families to attend the service together but recognize that is not always possible or beneficial. A special children's bulletin is available to help kids engage in the service.
  • Wednesday evenings (6:30pm) working on age-appropriate Scripture memorization

Special Events & Activities

We also have a remote video room and nursing mothers' room with audio and video of the Sunday morning service available. Just ask one of our ushers or volunteers if you need help locating either of these rooms.
