Psalm 24:1 tells us “[t]he earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein.” Everything we have ultimately belongs to God, who has entrusted it to us that we might glorify Him by stewarding it well. Yet we often instinctively use our money and possessions as if they are meant for no higher purpose than to further our own agenda and gratify our desires. How can we avoid this mentality and instead follow Jesus’s command to lay up treasure in heaven rather than on earth?

On Wednesday, May 27, join us on Zoom at 7pm as elder Ken Whitley leads us through a webinar focused on helping us to think biblically about the resources God has placed in our care. Ken will walk us through the biblical perspective on money and possessions, wrong perspectives that get in the way of managing our money faithfully, what it means to store up treasure in heaven, and what it looks like to wisely steward what we have been given. Special focus will be given to lessons we can learn from our present unusual circumstances about faithfulness in our finances.

Please register below if you plan to attend. The seminar is limited to 99 participants, and only one registration is needed per device that will connect to the webinar (e.g. if you and another person will be watching via the same computer, you only need to register one of your names).

The Zoom meeting link will be emailed out 30 minutes prior to the start time.
