In Memory of Rebecca "Becca" Prange

June 21, 2001 - January 26, 2015

alternatetextRebecca Ann Prange, age 13, of Rochester, Mich., peacefully graduated into glory following complications from cancer on Monday, January 26, 2015, at her home.

Becca was born June 21, 2001 and lived in Rochester all of her life with her parents Norm ("Chip") and Amy, and her siblings—Jessica, Julia, Joshua, and James.

She enjoyed art, climbing trees, performing in stage plays, and caring for Finley, her horse. Known for her spunky personality, she loved hanging out with her friends and being a part of the youth group at Five Points Community Church in Auburn Hills.

Growing up in a loving, Christian family and regularly sitting under the preaching and teaching of the Word of God at Five Points Community Church, Becca came to trust in Jesus Christ alone for her salvation, believing that he paid for her sins and credited her with his righteousness. She gladly confessed that her salvation was not of her own doing but was by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone to the glory of God alone. All this, she knew, was based on the Word of God alone and the only source of true joy in this life and throughout eternity.

Becca's favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
