Every Sunday, from 01/12/2020 to 04/05/2020, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Join us for the hour prior to our Sunday worship service as we come together at
(Room C/D; teaching team)
In a time when the notion of truth is increasingly being regarded as subjective and relative, it is increasingly challenging to give a defense for the hope that is in us. And yet, II Corinthians 10:3-5 tells us sharing the gospel will at times require us to dismantle philosophies raised against the knowledge of God. Thankfully, the God who establishes logic has provided many trustworthy arguments for the truth in His Word. Join us as we explore the rational foundation the Bible provides for topics such as the existence of God and the reliability of Scripture. We will also spend time studying the tenets of major world religions.
New Testament Overview
(Commons; teaching team)
Continuing on from last year’s Old Testament Overview, this class will provide a general overview of the New Testament with a particular emphasis on how God faithfully kept the promises He made in the Old Testament, the Person of Jesus Christ, and the kingdom of God. The significance of continuity and literary genre in rightly interpreting the New Testament will also be examined. Come be awed once again at the climax of God’s wonderful plan of redemption!
