The Church in the World

(Room C/D; teaching team)

When God saves us, He doesn’t just reconcile us to Himself in Christ, He also reconciles us to other believers and brings us into community with each other in the church. Our life together is meant to be one of loving unity that demonstrates the transforming power of the gospel, yet because we are still sinners, the church is often filled with strife and disgruntlement. In this class, we will examine what Scripture says about how we are to live together as a church and how God’s grace can enable us to shine brightly as lights in this fallen world.

New Testament Overview

(Commons; teaching team)

Continuing on from last year’s Old Testament Overview, this class will provide a general overview of the New Testament with a particular emphasis on how God faithfully kept the promises He made in the Old Testament, the Person of Jesus Christ, and the kingdom of God. The significance of continuity and literary genre in rightly interpreting the New Testament will also be examined. Come be awed once again at the climax of God’s wonderful plan of redemption!

Women's Study: Ecclesiastes

(Room E; teaching team)

All women are invited to gather in Room E for a study of Ecclesiastes. Join us as we journey through this search for meaning in life and consider why nothing matters, yet everything matters.
