On June 23, Cornerstone Church in Detroit will be holding an outdoor service and community outreach event, which will include fun activities, food, and giveaways to needy families. Five Points will be partnering with them by collecting donations, assisting with preparation, and serving during the outreach. Saturday, June 22, we will meet at Five Points at 12pm and head down to Cornerstone to deliver our collected items, help sort donations for the giveaway, and receive a tour of the community from Pastor Tyler St. Clair. The next day (Sunday) we have the opportunity to attend the worship service at 11am, followed by helping with the outreach from 12pm-3pm. Volunteers who would be willing to take pictures, bring yard games, or who have a special talent like face painting are especially needed.
