Do you wish your time studying God’s Word was more effective and fruitful? During the fall semester, this class will meet in Room D to learn tools and skills necessary to rightly interpret Scripture by considering elements such as the genre, author’s purpose, context, and structure of a given passage.

Old Testament Overview

(Commons; teaching team)

This class will run from September to March and will provide a general overview of the Old Testament focusing primarily on what it reveals about God’s character and the promise of Jesus. Other topics will include Old Testament literary genres and overarching themes.
