How to Study the Bible
(Room D; teaching team)
Do you wish your time studying God’s Word was more effective and fruitful? During the fall semester, this class will meet in Room D to learn tools and skills necessary to rightly interpret Scripture by considering elements such as the genre, author’s purpose, context, and structure of a given passage.
Old Testament Overview
(Commons; teaching team)
This class will run from September to March and will provide a general overview of the Old Testament focusing primarily on what it reveals about God’s character and the promise of Jesus. Other topics will include Old Testament literary genres and overarching themes.
Women's Study: I, II, & III John
(Room E; teaching team)
All women are invited to gather in Room E for a study of 1, 2, and 3 John. Though these letters were written near the end of the first century, we will consider how contemporary John’s counsel is for us today as we examine the timeless contrasts he presents between the church and the world: “Righteousness vs Sin,” “Love vs Hate,” “Assurance vs Doubt,” and “Truth vs Error.”
Children & Students
Children will be using The Gospel Project curriculum, learning how the whole story of the Bible finds its fulfillment in the person and work of Jesus.
